Date: Thursday 9 May 2024
Time: Doors at 18:00 / Discussion begins at 18:30
Location: King’s College London Bush House North East Wing

In collaboration with King’s College London's Geography Society, join the Academy’s Young Urbanists for the third in a series of in-person discussions on how to build your career in urbanism.

Urbanism is a multi-dimensional field which offers numerous employment opportunities for individuals who are interested in the practice of good urbanism and how it can establish a high quality of living, nurture a healthy and creative way of life, support economic, social, political, and cultural activities.

We will hear about different careers in urbanism from built environment professionals working across the capital in the public and private sector. Speakers will set out what their roles entail and provide advice about careers in the sector.

This event is aimed at students and early career professionals and is free for AoU Members and Kings College Students when using their @kcl.ac.uk email address, and non-member tickets are priced at £5.00.

Schedule:
Doors open at 18:00
Discussion begins at 18:30
Discussion ends at 19:30
Doors close at 20:00
